Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation following a traffic stop on Thursday.

An RPD report said just before 5:30 p.m. an officer stopped a sedan for several traffic violations in the 2400 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The 41-year old was found to be on parole. His parole officer was contacted and issued a detainer for his arrest due to missing a check in. He was also cited for driving while suspended.

The man was detained without bail.
