DIAMOND LAKE BOULEVARD/OR 138 DESIGN CONCEPT PLAN

The City of Roseburg and the Oregon Department of Transportation has announced the Diamond Lake Boulevard/OR 138E Design Concept Plan.

A release said with new housing and future growth expected along Diamond Lake Boulevard, both the City and ODOT are taking action now to plan improvements so the corridor better serves all Roseburg residents and visitors, including people walking, biking, rolling, using transit and driving.

Between now and the summer of 2024, citizen input and involvement will help shape the design concept plan – the community’s blueprint for a safer, more convenient and accessible Diamond Lake Boulevard.

Residents are encouraged to visit the project website where they can:

*Sign up for updates

*Submit comments and ideas for improving the corridor

*Request a project briefing for a group or organization

Some people may quality to receive payment for participating in certain activities as the plan is developed. ODOT’s Equitable Engagement Compensation Program makes it easier for community members to participate in the process by offering payments to people who volunteer their time to project-related activities.
