Sutherlin Police located a fugitive who was hiding in a vehicle Thursday night.

An SPD report said just after 6:00 p.m. 21-year old Eli Moore was found on the floorboard of a vehicle at a business in the 800 block of East Central Avenue. Moore allegedly had multiple warrants for his arrest. He initially refused to exit the vehicle but was pulled out by officers and taken into custody without further incident.

Moore reportedly had a small amount of methamphetamine in his possession and was cited for it. He was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and for four warrants. Bail was set at $15,000.
