Roseburg had less than half the normal amount of rain in May.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport received 1.01 inches of rain last month. That compares to the normal amount for the month of May, which is 2.09 inches. In 2022, Roseburg got 2.50 inches of rain, which was above normal.

For the rain year, which began in October of last year, Roseburg has received almost 25 inches of rain in contrast to 30 inches, which is the normal amount. For an average rain year – which runs from October to October – Roseburg gets 32.07 inches of rain.
