Roseburg Police jailed a man Wednesday for alleged past thefts and for a drug charge.

An RPD report said officers contacted 31-year old Geoffrey Shorey of Sutherlin in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street, at about 2:25 p.m. After interviewing Shorey, he was taken into custody for multiple past cases. He was allegedly found to be in possession of twelve grams of methamphetamine. Shorey was charged with a felony count of unlawful possession of meth, two counts of second-degree theft, and for third-degree theft. Bail was set at $7,500.
