One person was jailed and one was cited after alleged drinking in public incidents on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 12:15 p.m. a 59-year old was contacted while allegedly drinking a beer in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. The suspect poured the beer out. He was also given his second city exclusion notice.

At 4:10 p.m. a 56-year old man was contacted in Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street when an officer noticed the man had an open beer. The suspect also had a warrant for his arrest and was taken to corrections.
