Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive Sunday night for alleged theft incidents.

An RPD report said just before 11:00 p.m. officers contacted 31-year old Cody King in  the 200 block of Promise Avenue after he was identified as the suspect in thefts at Costco and Big Lots. King allegedly gave officers a false name. Once an officer correctly identified him, he was also found to have a warrant out of Linn County.

King was charged with two counts of second-degree theft, attempted second-degree theft, giving false information to an officer, and for the warrant. Bail was set at $11,250.
