A Tri-City man was jailed after an alleged menacing incident Thursday afternoon.

An Roseburg Police report said at 3:20 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance in a parking lot in the 600 block of West Madrone Street. An investigation revealed that 25-year old Micah Shurtz menaced one victim with a dinner fork and menaced a second victim with a coffee mug.

Shurtz had not updated his address on his sex offender registration status for months, according to the report.

He was charged with two-counts of menacing, failure to report as a sex offender and for violation of a release agreement. Shurtz was detained without bail.
