All occupants were taken to the hospital following an alleged DUII wreck on Sunday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 4:15 p.m. troopers were called to an accident on Highway 42 in Camas Valley. The driver of a sedan failed to negotiate a turn and came to an uncontrolled rest approximately fifty yards down an embankment.

Those in the vehicle were actively bleeding and a juvenile was later found to have a fractured femur. They were taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment. At the hospital the driver was found to be showing signs of impairment. A hospital blood draw found his blood alcohol level at .27 percent. That’s over three times the level to be cited for intoxication. Additional blood draws were performed at the hospital.

The juvenile was transported by ambulance to Oregon Health and Science University in Portland for treatment. The driver was eventually cited and released. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
