A Roseburg man was jailed early Monday by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office related to the unauthorized use of a vehicle.
A DCSO report said 32-year old Crispin Oglesby allegedly borrowed the victim’s vehicle on Saturday and refused to give it back to her. The sedan did not have a license plate but had a temporary sticker in the back window.
A deputy located the vehicle behind a business on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard at 12:45 a.m. The sedan was recovered and Oglesby was initially charged with first-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was detained without bail.
