Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged DUII traffic accident on Friday night.

An RPD report said officers responded to the wreck at 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Stewart Parkway. The driver of the vehicle hit was able to recover the license plate number of the other vehicle as it sped away. Officers contacted the 40-year old suspect at her residence, where she was lying on the couch.

The report said the woman was intoxicated and was taken into custody. She refused to provide a breath sample at Corrections. The suspect was charged with DUII alcohol, failure to perform the duties of a driver and for refusal to take a test for intoxicants. The woman was detained on $16,250 bail.
