Roseburg Police jailed a man after an unusual theft incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 8:30 p.m. 34-year old Myson Houck allegedly approached a taxi driver in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street and stole the man’s glasses. Houck then reportedly walked away with the glasses and dropped them, which popped one lens out of the frame.

Houck was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, and second-degree counts of criminal mischief and theft. He was jailed on $18,750 bail.
