DRIVER FALLS ASLEEP, LEADING TO A SINGLE VEHICLE WRECK

A driver said he fell asleep, which led to a single vehicle wreck on Saturday night.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 6:15 p.m. the pickup was headed eastbound on Highway 38 approximately three miles west of Drain. It left the roadway, and then went down an embankment, striking a tree. The 32-year old man sustained minor injuries.

The driver was cited and released for a felony warrant out of Clackamas County. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
