The Douglas County Budget Committee will have its budget meetings beginning Monday.

The committee is made up of the Board of Commissioners and three citizen members. The group will review the proposed budget and formulate an operating plan which sets forth the balanced budget. They will meet in Room 301 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The committee is expected to meet on Tuesday as well.

Budget meetings are open to the public.

A public hearing and adoption of the budget will be held June 28th. It takes effect on July 1st.
