HISPANIC HERITAGE NIGHT SET FOR JUNE 17TH

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The third-annual Hispanic Heritage Night is set for Saturday June 17th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

It is presented by the Oregon Department of Human Services, Peace at Home Advocacy Center, Roseburg Public Library, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Thrive Umpqua and the Ford Family Foundation.

Event Director Julia Masner said the event is designed to share the rich aspects of the Latino and Hispanic culture with the community by sharing history, heritage and festivities. Masner said there will be live music, performances of ballet folklorico, rope tricks, charreria, and delicious food. Activities are offered for all ages with entertainment for all.

Hispanic Heritage Night will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 2001 West Bertha Avenue in Roseburg.
