Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for two warrants following a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon.

A DCSO report said at 3:00 p.m. the passenger, a 41-year old from Springfield, walked into a nearby residence in the 5200 block of Grange Road. Deputies learned the suspect opened the screen door in an attempt to enter the residence and startled the owner who then wanted the suspect trespassed.

The man left the area on foot and went across the highway onto Grange Road. Deputies learned of the warrants a short time later. The suspect was located nearby and was detained. He was held without bail.
