2ND ANNUAL BARKS AND RECREATION EVENT HAPPENING SATURDAY

The 2nd annual Barks and Recreation event is happening on Saturday, at Stewart Park in Roseburg from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. presented by Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center.

The event is free and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. The fundraiser is designed to get people outside with their dogs and raise awareness about the work that Saving Grace and other animal welfare organizations are doing in the community.

Barks and Recreation will feature something for everyone. There will be doggie contests including Best Trick, Best Hair and a Pie Eating Contest. Contest registration is now open at the Saving Grace website. Over thirty-five pet friendly vendors, dog activities, a beer garden, kid’s activities, affordable rabies vaccinations and microchips for dogs, food court and more. The Tory Rose Band will play from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a Saving Grace Adoptee Alumni Parade at 12:30 p.m.
