UMPQUA NATIONAL FOREST CLOSES ROAD DUE TO LANDSLIDE

The Umpqua National Forest has closed a portion of Whiskey Creek Road due to landslide activity.

A UNF release said the closure will remain in place until further notice. The landslide occurred on May 11th, making the road impassible since then.

The closure affects about 2.5 miles of Forest Service Road from the intersection of FSR 3114 and FSR 31 to the intersection of FSR 3114 and FSR 3114-100.

All activities are prohibited on the closed road. The closure order is posted on the UNF website which is linked: https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd1107820.pdf.
