SPECIAL DISTRICTS ELECTION UNOFFICIAL PRELIMINARY RESULTS

Unofficial Preliminary Results for the May 2023 Special Districts Election include these contested races:

Twila McDonald leads John Aschim and Avelina Avila for the Zone 1 seat on the Umpqua Community College Board. McDonald has 54 percent while Aschim has 31.2 percent and Avila has 14.6 percent

JR Guthrie leads William Wiloth for a seat on the Sutherlin School District Board of Directors. Guthrie has 70.2 percent to 29.6 percent for Wiloth

Curt Stookey is ahead in the Position 1 race for the Winston-Dillard School District Board of Directors. Stookey has 52.9 percent to 46.7 percent for Kalvin Heard

In the Position 5 race on that same board, Lorna Quimby leads Brian West and Mary Schreiner in a three-way race. Quimby has 39.6 percent to 32.2 percent for West and 27.8 percent for Schreiner

David Ward leads Paula Estill 63.5 percent to 32.3 percent for a seat on the North Douglas School District Board

Kent Rochester is running ahead of Barbara Crawford 53.8 percent to 46.2 percent for the Oakland School District Board

Tim Shaw is beating Audrey Squires 58.1 percent to 41.5 percent in the Position 1 race for the Glide School District

Candace Weatherly leads Darren Baker in the Position 1 race for the Elkton School District Board. Weatherly had 71.5 percent to 28.4 percent for Baker

In the Position 4 race on the same board, Randi Smith has 48.8 percent while Travis Heath has 25.4 percent, Missy Humber has 10.4 percent and Brian Hiatt has 10 percent

Ralph Larmell is beating Brenda Goin 70 percent to 30 percent for a seat on the Camas Valley School Board
