A man was jailed after alleged criminal mischief Saturday night.

A Roseburg Police report said at 11:15 p.m. officers contacted 32-year old Justin Fugate at Mercy Medical Center on Northwest Stewart Parkway after he allegedly broke a sliding glass door. This caused the glass to shatter and cut a victim. Fugate allegedly ran from the area and was contacted at a nearby business.

The man allegedly refused to comply with officers and punched one of them in the chest. Fugate was pepper sprayed and ultimately detained in handcuffs. He reportedly continued to fight with officers and had to be forced into the back of a patrol vehicle. Fugate was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, reckless endangering, third-degree assault, harassment and resisting arrest.

Fugate was detained without bail.
