The Umpqua Valley enjoyed hot weather over the weekend but no daily record high temperatures were set.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 93 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport Saturday and 95 degrees on Sunday. The record high for Saturday was 96 degrees, set in 1939. Sunday’s record high was 97 degrees, set in 2014.

Highs are expected to be near 90 degrees through Wednesday before backing off to the mid-80s on Thursday.
