An accident damaged a section of fence at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 5:30 p.m. a vehicle was northbound on Northwest Aviation Drive while another vehicle was stopped at the stop sign to exit the parking lot of a business. The second vehicle turned northbound onto Aviation and didn’t see that the other vehicle was already in the roadway.

The first vehicle’s front end crashed into the other vehicle’s front passenger side quarter panel, After the initial collision, the first vehicle went over a curb and through the airport’s chain link fence. Approximately thirty to forty feet of fencing was damaged.

The first vehicle was towed from the scene while the second vehicle was able to be driven away.
