Roseburg Public Library is having a book reading and signing with New York Times bestselling author TJ Klune, on Thursday May 18th at 7:00 p.m.

Klune, who was born and raised in Roseburg, is on tour with his new novel, “In the Lives of Puppets”, a fantasy adventure inspired by Carlo Collodi’s “The Adventures of Pinocchio”. A City of Roseburg release said “Puppets” received a starred review by Library Journal, which said the book is “an epic quest of rescue and discovery with the author’s trademark charm, heart and bittersweetness”.

The program will be held in the library’s Ford Room is free and open to the public. 40 copies of “In the Lives of Puppets” will be given away to attendees through a random drawing.
