WARM WEATHER HERE BUT NO RECORD HIGHS

A few days of warm weather has made it to the Umpqua Valley, but no record high temperatures are expected.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that it got to 82 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Wednesday. The record high for April 26th was 92 degrees, set in 1987.

The Umpqua Valley is slated to have a high in the low 80’s on Thursday and low 90’s on Friday. Neither of those will be records either. The record highs for April 27th and April 28th are 95 degrees and 96 degrees, respectively. Those were both set in 1926.

High temperatures will be in the low 80s on Saturday before dropping back to the 60s for much of next week.
