The Roseburg City Council approved all items on its agenda Monday night.
A synopsis from staff said councilors agreed to an ordinance amending a section of Roseburg Municipal Code in regards to noise disturbances. It was adopted after first and second reading.
The council awarded the Vine Street Main Replacement and Hooker Road Main Extension project to Crader Enterprises for $309,735. It awarded the Calkins/Troost/Harvard Storm Improvement Project to Black Pearl Paving and Excavation for $1,277,415.
Councilors authorized a Task Order with Century West Engineering for design and bidding services for the Water Main Replacement on Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Pine Street at a cost not to exceed $151,011.
Mayor Larry Rich made proclamations for:
*May as Historic Preservation Month
*May as National Bike and Bicycle Safety Month with May 3 as Walk and Bike to School Day and May 19 as Bike to Work Day.
*May 1 as Thrive Umpqua Day
The meeting adjourned at 8:12 p.m. The next council meeting will be May 8th.
