TWO TRANSIENTS JAILED BY DCSO MONDAY MORNING

Two transients were jailed by a deputy with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

A DCSO report said at 8:30 a.m. a deputy noticed a vehicle in the 1500 block of Ash Creek Road in the Riddle area and contacted the two people inside. A meth pipe was allegedly seen in plain view. A parole officer authorized a detainer for the 52-year old man for continuously driving. The 36-year old woman was found to have several warrants out for her arrest.

The man was charged with a parole violation and cited for a violation amount of the meth. He was held without bail. The woman was detained for the warrants. She was held on $30,000 bail.
