A motorcycle rider was hospitalized after a wreck near Diamond Lake on Sunday.

Information released Tuesday by the Oregon State Police said just before 3:00 p.m. the rider was westbound when he lost control during a snow flurry. The rider laid the bike on its side and slid to a stop in the eastbound lane. The Myrtle Creek man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

A family member recovered the motorcycle.
