Online enrollment for the upcoming school year in the Roseburg School District opens Monday April 24th.

Assistant Superintendent Michelle Knee said all new, returning and re-enrolling students will be required to enroll online to begin the registration process.

Knee said online registration guides, documents and parent portal access can be found on the district website at: https://bit.ly/3vvkF3D. Initial online enrollment is required for students in all grades. Final registration steps will occur in person in the fall. Kindergarten Roundup events will occur at all elementary schools on May 10th. Knee said parents are encouraged to contact their child’s school with questions about the online enrollment and registration process.

A release said the Roseburg School District offers a wide variety of educational experiences and opportunities for all students. Knee said from robotics and STEM/STEAM education at the elementary level to a rich offering of programs that prepare high school students for jobs in the trades, every student can find what inspires them to succeed.

The district has classroom libraries at each elementary school, and award-winning arts and musical programs at the middle and high school level. A variety of athletic programs are also offered.

Knee said for students and families who prefer online school, Roseburg Virtual School serves students in grades K-8. RVS students are taught by licensed Roseburg teachers and have the option of participating in fun and enriching in-person experiences throughout the school year.

Superintendent Jared Cordon said, “We are really proud of the foundational learning our students receive in our schools, as well as the incredible programs that inspire all students to dream about their future successes”. Cordon said, “We look forward to welcoming all new and returning students to the 2023-24 school year.”.
