Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged harassment, following an incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 3:30 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after a caller said there was a disturbance. Officers talked with numerous witnesses and the victim who all said the 27-year old suspect had spit in the victim’s face after a short verbal altercation.

The man was charged with harassment and taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,500.
