Hail and snow on the roadway contributed to a Wednesday freeway accident.

A report from Oregon State Police said just before 12:00 p.m. the driver of a sedan was traveling southbound near the Garden Valley Boulevard exit. The 29-year old Sutherlin woman lost control of her vehicle, due to the weather. The sedan spun around exiting the roadway and coming to rest in the ditch of the shoulder of the road, facing the wrong direction.

The driver was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
