A driver eluded a deputy during a pursuit on Thursday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 9:00 a.m. the deputy was in the 1200 block of Reuben Road in Glendale, when a stolen pickup passed him. A pursuit ensued but was terminated shortly after the deputy lost sight of the suspect vehicle as it sped away at a high rate of speed.
