The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team arrested a 20-year old man on drug charges Tuesday night.

Lieutenant Rick McArthur told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Joseph Hermanson was taken into custody in regards to a previous case that DINT has been investigating. McArthur said in that case, DINT discovered that Hermanson had allegedly possessed 1 kilo of suspected cocaine.

Hermanson was charged with unlawful distribution and possession of cocaine. He was detained without bail and was released on Wednesday.

No further information was released by DINT.
