Roseburg Police jailed a woman for warrants after she was contacted Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 10:50 p.m. an officer saw a woman sitting in a vehicle in the 2200 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. A short time later the officer saw the suspect running up the hillside in the same area. When contacted, she allegedly provided a false name. An officer observed what was believed to be a leather pistol case in her sweatshirt pocket. It was later seized pending a warrant application.

Multiple warrants were confirmed, and the suspect was taken into custody. She was held on $5,000 bail.
