Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged misuse of 911 on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. the 33-year old called 911 and claimed that two people were throwing rocks at his vehicle in the 400 block of Southeast Ramp Road. The man was allegedly uncooperative with dispatchers and hung up on them. He called 911 a second time and screamed at the dispatched until they hung up on them. The man called 911 a third time and continued to berate the dispatchers.

He was found at his residence and detained. The report said the accusations of individuals throwing rocks was unfounded. The suspect was charged with misuse of 911. Bail was set at $6,250. The man was released later in the day.
