A Coos Bay man was jailed on a strangulation charge following a disturbance on Saturday night.

A Coos County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 7:45 p.m. a caller said the incident was taking place on Fourth Road in Bunkerhill. After speaking with the victim, the deputy developed probable cause for the arrest of 46-year old Michael Williams on the charge of domestic strangulation.

Williams was taken to the Coos County Jail where he remains in custody.
