Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said just before 11:30 p.m. the 47-year old allegedly entered a gated residence in the 2400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, which was marked with a no trespass sign. The suspect reportedly began searching through items on the porch.

He was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass in the second-degree. The man was detained on $1,250 bail.
