The Oregon Legislature’s Joint Committee on Ways & Means will, for the first time, be in Roseburg to hear from the people of Douglas County and area residents on what Senate District 1’s budget priorities are for the upcoming biennial budget.

A release from the Senate Republican Office said that budget will fund schools, public safety and other programs and services.

Senators David Brock Smith and Dick Anderson, Representatives Court Boice, Virgle Osborne, Christine Goodwin and Boomer Wright are asking for testimony from area residents.
