The Umpqua Economic Development Partnership will have its next Pitch Night event Wednesday night.

It begins at 5:30 p.m. at Backside Brewing Company on Northeast Odell Avenue in Roseburg. Six small business applicants will pitch to a panel of judges.

*1st place wins $5,000

*2nd place wins $2,500

*3rd place wins $1,500
