Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at about 7:40 a.m. the 47-year old was contacted after a caller said the suspect was trespassing at a store in the 400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Employees noticed the man in an employee-only freight room and said he attempted to steal a case of water and a bottled beverage.

The suspect was allegedly found in possession of 3.3 grams of methamphetamine when he was apprehended. He was charged with second-degree trespass and for a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of meth. The man was detained without bail.
