A man was jailed for an alleged DUII incident by Roseburg Police early Saturday.

An RPD report said at about 1:00 a.m. officers saw a sedan commit numerous traffic violations as it left a parking lot near Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Spring Street.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver. The 36-year old allegedly showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. While at the jail, he was allegedly found in possession of a violation amount of methamphetamine.

Along with the DUII charge, the man was cited on the drug charge and for driving uninsured and for not having an operator’s license. He was detained without bail and was released later that day.
