DRIVER INJURED WHEN VEHICLE STRIKES BARRIER

April 2, 1:00 p.m.  

The driver was injured when his vehicle struck a barrier early Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 12:20 a.m. a deputy contacted the man at the Glendale Ambulance station. The man said he was in the 2600 block of Glendale Valley Road when he swerved to miss a deer, which led to the sedan crashing. He complained of chest and head pain and was transported to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass for evaluation. There were no signs of impairment.
