Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged restraining order violation on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:10 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue after a caller said a man was there who was restrained from being at the location. The 24-year old suspect had left before officers arrived but was later contacted near a business on Northeast Stephens Street.

He admitted to being at the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $5,000.
