A three-vehicle accident took place in Green on Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at about 1:45 p.m. a driver was headed south on Austin Road turning onto Carnes Road. A second driver was operating a pickup going south on Carnes. The first driver failed to see the second vehicle, which led to the collision. A pickup parked nearby was slightly damaged during the crash.

The first driver initially reported injuries but ultimately decided not to be transported to a medical facility. He was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
