Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just before 8:00 p.m. officers contacted the 32-year old after a store in the 1200 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard called and said they wanted the man to leave the store. When the suspect walked out of the store, the alarms at the business went off because he allegedly had stolen items on his person.

The items were returned to the store and he was charged with third-degree theft and taken into custody. Bail was set at $1,250.
