A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 11:15 a.m. an officer saw a 29-year old man near the corner of Southeast Oak Street and Southeast Stephens Street and knew that he was a city expulsion violator. Dispatch confirmed that he was trespassed from the downtown area. The suspect was contacted and placed in handcuffs without incident.

He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and detained on $1,250 bail.
