A Roseburg man was jailed by Roseburg Police for an alleged menacing incident Saturday night.

An RPD report said officers responded at 10:30 p.m. after multiple callers said the 46-year old had gone to a business in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue and threatened to kill the employee inside. The last report indicated the suspect tried to kick the back-door in.

Officers learned the suspect was staying at a nearby motel. He was contacted and taken into custody without issue. The man was charged with menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $6,250.
