UMPQUA VALLEY ARTS UNVEILS 5 NEW EXHIBITS

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Valley Arts is unveiling 5 new exhibits in its galleries Friday.

UVA’s Community Outreach Director Sara Holborow said, “UVA remains committed to bringing unique, thought-provoking arts and cultural experiences to Douglas County”. Holborow said, “These experiences connect and engage our community which is why it’s crucial that the arts remain alive and accessible”.

An opening reception will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to highlight a group of exhibits titled “Natural Bonds”. The celebration will include small bites and sips, live music, and staff remarks at 5:30 p.m.

The exhibits include:

*In the Spirit of Nature in the Hallie Brown Ford Gallery

*Seeing With Your Soul in the Red Door Galley

*On The Verge in the Corridor Gallery

*If I Have To, I Can Do Anything in Gallery II

*The Promise in the Student Gallery

Regular gallery hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. UVA is on West Harvard Avenue in Fir Grove Park.
