A Riddle man was cited by Roseburg Police after a traffic stop early Friday.

An RPD report said at 12:45 a.m. the 26-year driver was contacted in the 3200 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard and detained for a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended. He was found to be in possession of a spring assisted knife and is a convicted felon. The man was charged with being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon.

He was cited in lieu of custody and a valid driver took possession of the vehicle.
