Roseburg Police cited a man after his vehicle hit a building at the Garden Valley Shopping Center in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard on Monday.

An RPD report said the incident occurred just past 5:10 p.m. The 46-year drove away from the scene but was contacted nearby. The man reportedly admitted to taking a hit of compressed air, which caused him to pass out, which led to the accident. An information exchange was facilitated with the building’s owner.

The driver was charged with reckless driving and unlawful possession of inhalants and then was released.
