PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCES INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Umpqua Economic Development Partnership has an interim leader following the retirement of Executive Director Wayne Patterson, effective March 1st.

A release said UEDP’s board has named Jessica Fehrn as the interim executive director. She will lead the day-to-day operations of the organization through this transitional phase. Fehrn has worked for the organization for nearly two years as the assistant executive director.

Fehrn has experience with project and event management, fundraising, grant writing, process improvements, and has served as the point person for a number of local businesses. UEDP has begun a process to review and update the position description and will soon commence a search for the next executive director.

The board wants to thank Patterson for his leadership and impact over his seven years with the organization. They are grateful to Patterson for his dedication to the organization and wishes him all the best going forward.

The release said UEDP is committed to championing equitable economic growth across the Douglas County area. Through collaboration with community, government, business and education partners, the group says it endeavors to help provide a healthy and high standard of living for its community members.
